Try eBay. Since it's a rare car they should be going low compared to an online store. I got mine for $210, retail at $250 lowest

Good luck with the Euro headlights. It's a simple upgrade and it really doesn't show how nicer looking the front end is until they are on your car. After getting my car with Euros, I don't see how I could ever go back to the regular one. They look so out of place. (Getting clear corners tomorrow.)

just about any Mercedes paint color.
But I would for a car like that, go with the original paint if possible.

This is the authentic European light "conversion" on my W126

And this is an example of "stock" on a W126.
I'm not too sure with all the ruckus that went on in those days about the headlights on European cars and why they had to change them to "American" spec, but by far, I think the european lights look like they go with the car better, they light up the road better, and they look better over time. Plus with the Euro, it seems easier to customize using the H4 plugs/bulbs. If I wanted to, I could go blue (8000K) with no problem. And they look better with the clear corners (no new pics yet of that.) But that's just my opinion.

Congrats, it will really add to the car

repainting my 280ce?
Go for a metalic silver, something wild. Or black if you can't think of anything. I don't know any vehicles that don't look good in black.
