Whistle(LOUD)

I have just purchased a 108CDI vito and while driving it home i heard a rather loud whistle when i put the boot down, it sound like a noisey turbo ..............anyone got any ideas ?

intake leak exhaust leak turbo. the first two would dissappear almost immediately when the accellerator pedal was released. the turbo would spool down or rapidly but not immediately drop in pitch.
