Default Suspicious exhaust leak

I did a search and read most of the threads regarding exhaust fumes, but they didn't quite give me the information that I need.

Problem: Was smelling exhaust fumes anytime I would roll down a window, so I took it to an exhaust place and had it checked out. There was a little issue in one spot of the system and they fixed it. However, now anytime I open my door or roll down a window exhaust fumes seem to be coming from the front of the car. I have checked the car while it was running with the hood up etc. From the direct front of the car there is no smell of exhaust, but if you get near the drivers side the smell will nearly knock you down. I cannot detect any leaking underneath the car or any fluid leaks anywhere...not even a spot under the car on the ground. There is no smoke or anything just the nasty smell. Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

Thanks

Should I not consider the areas where the engine "exhausts" from each of the cylinders?

Hmm, ok. I'll do that and see if that solves the issue, I'll let you know. Thanks.
