Default Redirecting PCV fumes to exhaust (vs intake)

Has anyone ever considered redirecting the PCV pipe to the exhaust? Of course with proper heat-resistant piping (i.e. metal, etc). The expectation would be to ventilate the crankcase without redirecting it into the intake...my car is a 91 350SDL.

Paul, don't forget about the pressure diff.(exhaust is most likely a higher pressure than in the valve cover)..........................jerry
