Preglow Timer Relay
Hi,
In 99 E300w210 engine light is ON and MB dealer told me that the "preglow timer relay" needs to be replaced.
The start up seems to just fine for now.Does anyone have the instructions on how to replace "preglow timer relay"...?
Since the car seems to start fine for now shouldI look for any wiring or connection/cleaning issues...?
Thank you.

RE: Preglow Timer Relay
wondering if the dealer gave you the fault code number? I know that the dealers can pull codes more spacific than the ones I can, but with one blown glow plug I ended up with a check engine light, and code 380 on my 96 e300d. My glow plug light would not come on when first starting up, and after about a minute or so after the engine started, it would go off and on at various times. Changed out the glow plug, cleard the code, and all is well. Good luck...

RE: Preglow Timer Relay
The engine light went away on its own after couple of miles of driving.
The car starts fne as usual. Does the 99 E300 computer clears the error codes after few miles...?
anyway the car drives like a rocket as usual.
