Preglow problem
I have a 2005 c200 cdi coupe diesel automatic. After the preglow light has gone out and I start the engine, when I start to
move the light comes back on but I don't know why this is happening. Would appreciate any help.

For emission purposes the newer models the Glow Plugs are tied in with a Temp sensor and will continue to stay on until the Coolant is up to a certain temp.
Unfortunately I cannot say for sure after what year they started doning the above.
Somwhere between 1985 and your year there was also a Glow Plug System that had something called "Afterglow" that also kept the Glow Plugs on longer.

preglow
Any ideas what type of error it i. Im not very good with cars to be honest im not really sure what the preglow is. Is it a cable or a type of plug?
