Happen to know what the max exhaust temp ish these cars will push at factory settings, more or less is there any room to play with lack of boost.

Tinkered with some old ford idi's made a considerable difference and was still more than drivable.

No big rush but could you tell me what they changed in the internals that made that big of a difference in the 82-85 models, lower comp. diff block, crank etc.

Just curious probly won't worry with it right now just never been around these engines before.
