Hello soo to tue point.. I got a 85 300sd ca. The speedo, tac nornthe odo worked but the dash n center consul lights worked. Went threw a drive threw n noticed the cluster was sticking out. Pust on it n BAM no cluster lights nor consul lights. Got home n pulled the cluster out. Noticed there was a wire disconnected. So start pulling the wires (not thing didnt disconnect the battery) the red 12v arcked twice then wet n disconnected the battery. But found where the disconnected wire went. Now theres no cluster lights but the tac workes. Fuses look good. Any idea why the cluster lights n center consul lights dont work n did Imor couldve the 2x arck from the 12v wire messed any thing up? Thank you for your time

 

Thank you for the reply. Got up a lil early to check it out. All the gauges that worked prior still work plus the tac now works! Also all the lights across the bottom still work plus reserve light n left blinker now work. Just the background and the center console don't work.

The wire that arked was on the right side.
