Default Changing brake pads

I have just looked at the manual regarding changing the pads on my 1978 300CD. How likely is it that I will need specialty tools. I have changed disc brake pads on numerous other vehicles, with only basic tools. Is this that much more challenging?

Thanks

HI, I just put on new pad on my 83 300SD. Piece of cake. If you are just looking at the book pull the tires and look to see how much pad you have left. Depending on your braking style you may not need them yet or way over due. Either way its a very simple job.

Good luck Chris
