The head was previously off the engine (previous owner) and I am checking timing. off 10* I purchased a small assortment of offset woodruff keys pulled the cam gear and see no key. is the key located on the crank all the info on the web seems to show it on the cam. do the later models have it on the crank?

Is there no way to adjust cam timing?? seems strange.
