Default 82 300SD Compression Specs

I have a recently purchased 82 300SD and would like to do a compression check. I have looked through both the Haynes and Chiltons and cannot find a compression pressure spec. Any know what compression pressure specs are (normal, wear limit, max difference between cyl)?

all of them diesels got about 18 bar.

for as long as the difference between cylinders is not more than 3 bar.

Default RE: 82 300SD Compression Specs

My new (lol) 85 300 SD Turbo runs fine, but I just had compression test done (after a valve adjustment) with poor results:

22
21
18
15
14

Factory specs are 24-30, with 18 being the minimum.
I know that these results are not good, but exactly how bad are they? Does this mean the engine is completely shot and I need to look at a rebuild? Will the car start in Michigan winters? (temps around 25-35 F)

Any advice is appreciated!!

Thanks,
Marc
