I have an 85 300sd with 268 k on it.Transmission has stopped working 2 times for about 10 seconds but then it is fine.Fluid and filter are new.It only did this twice .It was in drive and seemed like it went to neutral and did not work in any gear,then it came right back after 10 seconds.Wonder if it is some kind of vacuum valve?Any help appreciated, Joe

What does "stopped working" mean? Did it slip between gears? Did it just not go? From what position? Under what conditions? We need more information please.
