1997 E-300 " engine electronic" help

While driving my warning light comes on saying check engine electronic. Where do I start? We are the diesel family, this is a first for this type of problem.

You could start by getting the code read to see if it can give you a hint as to what the problem is. If you don't have a code reader, most auto supply stores will read it for you at no cost. Good luck!!
