No center console shift...really?? WOW, I wanted to upgrade to the 2015 C63 until I found out they are moving to the paddle shift as well. What are these idiots in Germany thinking. Looks like all the new models are moving away from the center console shift. Also looks like it's time for me to switch to BMW

 

I just purchased a new GLK with the paddle shifters. Thought the same way you did. But you know, those paddles work really well, and are right their at finger reach.
