I jusr purchased a 1997 sl320 with no owners manual or other documentation. VIN-wdb1290631f155997. can you send me the code for mine for my records? I really appreciate it. Also, I need to replace the cover for the small storage below the radio and need to remove / relace the center console to do so. Can you send me step by step for that operation? Thank you

I had to have the battery changed in my 2000 c230, and the radio code with my manual doesn't work. I suspect it's not the original manual, as it seem to be the original radio. VIN is WDBHA24G1YA824760.
Also, how do I get the windows to work right again? They no longer go all the way up or down by themselves.

Solution for lost radio code Alpine MF2910
You have radio cd player Alpine MF 2910 and a radio code is calculated from serial number. Serial number is printed or curved on the bottom of the unit. If your unit did not come with a car MB dealer can not help you out. Try to get radio code over Internet from decoding services. Some owners of the unit are lucky to pay once for the code and some pay more than that and still do not have right radio code. There is a solution for it. Your unit has very small 8 pins microchip called eeprom on the circuit board. Eeprom chip got original radio code from the factory. All you got to do is desolder the chip and send to the decoding service.
