Hi all and hope u all have a gr8 New Year :-)

I have a UK spec 2004 CLK which has an Audio 20 Cd player and I have just fitted a glovebox mounted MC 3330 CD Changer (MOST Optical connection). According to the Mercedes WIS, my post June 2004 is capable of playing Mp3 audio cds. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and if so is there any limitations such as max number of files, file name lengths etc etc.

I am not really into part numbers myself, thus can't say which CDc you have installed in your car. I do know there are two different CD changers available for cars with MOST wiring. A regular CDc, and one that can play MP3 discs.

The MP3 discs can only have 1 folder, with 99 songs max. Simply because the MP3 CDc can't read multiple folders.
