hey i just got a 1997 C280 and my radio's anti-theft system is locking me out of it and telling me to wait. Does anybody know a code i can enter or where i can look to find the deactivation code at?

If you didn't get a code card with the car, any MB dealer can look up the security code for you. They'll want to see proof of ownership.

"WAIT" means that an incorrect code has been entered three times. You need to leave the radio turned on for approx 15 minutes for it to return to "CODE."

The local dealer here in California will give you the code over the phone, you just need to give them your VIN # (Vehicle Identification Number)
