Mobile Phone Interface - Motorola V3
Hi,
I am soon to have delivered a CLK 500 CAB, and I wanted to use my Motorola V3 through the in-car phone system however MB do not produce an interface for this phone.
Does any one know of an aftermarket solution for this phone that will allow full integration into the MB Command system ?
I understand that MB cannot make an interface for ALL phone brands but surely they can produce a bluetooth interface ! This would be the best solution, as the user would not even after to plug their phone in. Is there an aftermarket Bluetooth adapter ? or any pland by MB to manufacture one ?
Thanks in advance.
Simon

Hi.
Sorry I don't have a answer to your question.
I too, had the same problem with a Samsung D500.
In the end I used a stand alone bluetooth device that clips to the visor, its great but doesn't intergrate with the Command.
I would imagine that Mercedes or a third party company will produce a universal bluetooth interface that is in the form of a "dumb" craddle that will work with any phone.
Its just a mater of time.
If you have any luck please let me know.
Paul.

The item that you are looking for is the Motorola IHF1000. I am having it installed in my fiance's car 01 c320. Iam having it installed at BestBuy and they can fully integrate it into the car. It can be integrated to work with one or all speakers in the car, but you will be charged for each speacker ($50), so most people only do the driver's and/or the both speakers in the front.
