Default iPod integration install time?

I recall hearing that the installation time for the iPod integration kit is about 2 hours. Is that so?

Can someone check in the dealership manual? Because my dealer told me it's gonna be a 4 hour job at $110/hr. Ouch.

At 2 hours I would've thought about it... but at 4, it seems a little too crazy.

I know that in BMW dealership manuals it always says the required installation time. And that was the time that they can charge you for. If they are done sooner or later, the Labor charge stays the same. Is it the same with MB?

In a 2005+ CLK... 2 hours is reasonable.

So today I called the other dealer in town... and they told me the install will be done in about 2 hours, and the total cost will be $198 in labor charges.

After I got these news, I went ahead and bought the Integration kit. There's this guy on Ebay... I don't know where he gets these parts, but he has a few of the kits in stock. Here's a link to one of his auctions (2 days left). BTW, if you ask him... he'll sell you this setup for $225 shipped as Buy It Now price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...spagenameZWDVW

I asked the $tealer parts guy how much this setup costs, and he said it's $316 before taxes for these 2 parts.
