Default E320 Command DVD question to watch movies on the move

Hello there, I am looking for the best way to allow my passengers to watch the DVD screen whilst the car is in motion on a 2008 E Class 320 Sport through the standard command system, is it just a matter of cutting the Gala Signal, and does the Gala signal control anything other than the sound level up/down etc......
does anybody know which is the gala signal and if there is an easy place to find it rather than at the back of the command system...

Thank you

Thanks again.
