I didn;t receive any responses about integrating my i730 into my MB, so I wanted to throw out a general request for a discussion on phone choices that are availalbe or that anyone out there has made.

I have a 2002 S430 with the phone system built in. There is a docking station and cable in my center arm-rest consol.

Right now I have a Motorola i730 which won't connect now.

What has been everyones consensus on the best/phone plan so far for integrating into a legacy setup on a MB?

As far as I know, the Motorola I730 can't be integrated in your MB... or any MB for that matter. Here is a link for your reference:

To be honest, I don't have a cell phone installed in my car. But a friend of mine is very fond of the Sony Ericsson T637... he has been trying several phones for our UHI and MHI systems, and that is the one he fancies the most.
