Default Aux install in a '07 c280

I am attempting to install an aux connector and discovered I do not have the infamous white plug in the rocker panel. My car was built in '07. I want to put the ipod in the console and use the aux plug and a Blitzsafe adapter. I had this setup in my old Audi and it is great. The Blitzsafe cabe is long enough to allow you to adjust the ipod while driving without looking at the floor of the car and the cable just lays between the console and the seat. Sorry I digress. I have the standard head unit (no nav) with a CD changer in the glovebox. I have searched the boards but can't find anything about installing the aux hookup if you don't already have the plug in the rocker. Do I have to take the interior apart and run the wires to the back? Does anyone have a description of how to do this? Where to plug in the wires? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Greg
