I have a 2003, C240 with a damaged speaker grill on the lower front drivers door. I would like to replace it but I'm not sure how to remove the origional one without damaging anything. Does anyone know how to do this or where I may find some instructions?

 

if it's the same as a 2000 c230 there's a screw on the bottom of the grill. remove it and pry off the grill.

 

kind of a bitch. remove door panel and must melt the old plastic from the speaker cover which is also attached to the door pocket. the new speaker grill will have to be melted back in or use speed nuts.
