Default 1993 190e Amplifier Separate from Radio or Integral? - Location?

My radio works (scans to stations and stops) but has no sound.

I've seen an ad for a '190e series amplifier' and wonder where it is located as that might be where my trouble lies, not in the radio.

Might it be the box under the driver's seat (in which case - how to remove the seat)

Question - location of radio amplifier 1993 190e

thanks

I learned the location to be passenger side trunk under plastic cover between pillar and fender about belt height. None of the pins are getting +12v which seems odd but all fuses are good.

Radio works - scans to stations and stops - no sound
Any knowledge here appreciated.
