I took my car to the dealer to get my computer display fixed due to dimming issues. After it was replaced, and several thousand miles later, and after it was out of warranty, I noticed that I could no longer get the option to check the level of the engine oil. Could they have replaced the computer with a different model that does not do this? Or could they have not reprogrammed it correctly? Or something else?

I would appreciate your comments and thoughts.
