I have a 1996 C280 that I just put a new a/c evap core on. I started the car and recharged the r134 to aprox 32oz and the compressor will not kick on. The ec light was on and would not shut off so I cleared the codes from the computer. It had a refrig temp code and a engine coolant code. The engine coolant sensor code still shows up but no other and the compressor still does not come on. I can jump the clutch wire to bat (+) and it works just fine. Please help It's hot out side.
