Hi Everyone,

Car = 2002 S600. Hope you guys can help. When I hold down the unlock key on my remote on the drivers side (aiming it directly at the sensor), the windows will not lower. When i do it on the passenger side, it works perfectly, the windows and sunroof go down, and the air conditioned dirver seat is activated.

From this I assume teh driverside door infrared sensor does not work. Does anyone know if itsa simple item to replace? item number? simililar experiences? do you think it'd be possible to switch the passenger side over to the driver side?

I have 2002 S55 and it is also not responding but it has in the past. This maybe simple as a system reset. I watched a salesmen perform this on my car about 2 years agao. Before than I had no idea it did that. How did you find out about this sequence?
