can someone give me a tip on replacing the gas spring struts on the trunk lid
on 2003 sl500.... ill figure it out, but some tips from experts are always appreciated.

there is a metal clip attached to the both ball sides. use a pocket screwdriver and slide it under the clip and twist a little while pulling the strut off, it helps to wiggle it andalso maybe move the trunk lid back a little, pretty somple to figure out.
installation, they just push on.
