Default location of expansion valve on '95 S320?

Could any one tell me the location of the expansion valve on my 1995 S320? I am going to replace the compressor, dryer and expansion valve. I did not see it on the firewall and assume it's under the dash in front of the middle console. Any other advice on this project?
Thanks

Hey guys. I've got a 1995 S320 and I'm also in the process of replacing the A/C compressor, dryer and expansion valve. However, I cannot find the expansion valve. I looked all around the brake booster but still can't find anything that looks like it.
If you could post a picture of it's location, it would be greatly appreciated.
I got started on this project because my compressor was seized. I hadn't planned on replacing the dryer or expansion valve, but it turns out the compressor's warranty was only valid if the drier and expansion valve were also replaced. So, I'm not sure I even need to replace the expansion valve, but I've got it and would like to get it in before having the system evacuated and charged.
Thanks in advance!

I found a diagram of the W140 / S320 expansion valve! Enjoy.

I also found a procedure for removal and replacement of the expansion valve.

I guess the reason I couldn't find the valve is because I didn't realize I had to remove the wiper system to access the valve. Now I know! I'm about to go rip my wipers apart!

Here's the copy/paste of the procedure:

1 Empty air conditioning (recycle), evacuate, Add quantity of compressor oil removed
charge, check for leaks to refrigerant circuit when charging air
conditioning (new oil)
2 Remove wiper system AR82.30-P-6400M
3 Unscrew nut (1) *BA83.30-P-1001-01A
4 Pull off pressure lines Plug openings (parts kit),
Replace O-rings (4) (moisten with
compressor oil)
5 Unscrew screws (3) *BA83.30-P-1002-01A
6 Pull expansion valve (5) off of pressure lines Plug openings (parts kit),
(7) Replace O-rings (4) (moisten with
compressor oil)
Installation: In order to avoid canting,
tighten screws alternately
7 Replace receiver/drier AR83.30-P-6520M
8 Install in opposite order

Enjoy!

Bummer. Removing the wiper system turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. I wasn't able to change the expansion valve. I replaced the compressor and dryer. Hopefully that will do the trick!!
