New user on forum - this has never happened to me before.

Started the car (A140 manual) to warm it up before driving - unfortunately the autolock has activated itself - with me locked out of the car unable to get in.

Have used the spare remote-opening key to try to unlock the car, but this has not worked.

(But at least the shrieking of the alarm has stopped)

So, the engine is running, but I can't get into the car.

Anyone have any advice?

Using key insert overrode the remote key being inactive, allowed me access.
