W220 '02 headlights on '01 W220 front - Possible?

Hi there, does the '02 W220 clear glass projector headlights fit the '01 W220 front? If they fit, do they need any modifications?

pretty sure they will work. i dont think there was any difference between the 2 years. unless they are xenon lights.

They're xenon headlights from the factory and i'd like to maintain the factory xenon
