99 230, I need to adjust driver's side window. When the window is all the way up and I close the door, the window cathes on the window/roof gasket and creates about a 1/4" gap between the back edge of window and window seal. How does the door come apart and how does one adjust the window?

 

sounds like you broke off the stops on the window you need to replaced the stops and re adjust the stops go to the dealer and see if there avai.

 

the window doesn't go up too far, it just isn't held in place tightly enough to be forced into window seal. Once the door is closed it takes a gentle nudge on the window glass to seat the glass in the gasket along the roof line. This was "fixed" once before when I first bought the car (used in June 05)
