Just had a new baby and found that the car seat doesn't fit real well in my Jetta... Needless to say I need more room. I drive a couple of hundred miles a day and really need to stick with a diesel. My car is an '02 Jetta GLS TDI, 130k, automatic, cold weather package, black on tan leather, power moon roof, heated mirrors and seats, Michellin's all around, all synthetic fluids, new TB with all guides and tensioners and WP, always use lube additive, mostly highway miles as I live 55 miles one way from my office. Very clean car, has one minor door ding, I am an ASE master tech. and have taken very good care of this car. Tranny shifts better than new with Mobil1 syn after full flush. Brakes are all great, starts fine in cold weather, regular filter changes, fuel, air, HVAC, etc... New sway bar bushings just installed, Nice OEM VW dual stainless tip... Don't really know what else to say about the car other than it's almost booring it's so good! I drive 80+ in combined city and highway and get a consistant 38mpg... have seen 45 in all interstate driving. A/C is wonderful in this car as it has no effect on the power like in most 4 cylinder cars! Anyhow.... I would like to see about a possible trade for a really nice older Benz turbo diesel. I would prefer 300 series or E or S class but would consider others if they were of the right caliber. I have absolutely no reason to sell my VW other than I need the room. I will sell outright for $10k but would honestly prefer a trade for a lesser valued car with a little boot or a straight trade for the right car. NO junk please!
