After-market stereo
Hi,
Has anybody installed an after-market stereo with the stock amp? I just installed an Eclipse AVN on my 97 S600 and hear a lot of interference through my speakers. Do I need to bypass the amp or change it? Thanks.[/align]

If you didn't by-pass the amp you are amplifying amplified sound - definitely a source of problems... I would bypass the factory amp - downside may be a limitation on the amount of speakers your OEM radion can drive
