Driving a CDN spec C280 but SAT radio (SIRIUS) is not avail here yet. Can it be added with a module? Our cars here are pre-wired. Any input is appreciated.

 

what year is your vehicle, which audio head unit does it have (command, mcs, audio 20, ect.) if u have a command unit does it have the sat button on the unit. is there an antennae on the trunk?

 

2007 C280 with COMMAND and SAT button on the radio. I have the Harmon Kardon system too

 

if your vehicle is prewired the antennea should allready be on the trunk since it is an 07. you can install the factory satelite reciever yourself but the fiber optic ring will have to be reconfigured which has to be done at the dealer or and independent shop that has an sds. (mercedes diag computer)

 

And if your C-class didn't come pre-wired for SAT from factory, it is also possible to get Sirius installed. Not sure where in Canada you are located, but my brother installed Sirius in a customer's (non pre-wired) car in Toronto a while ago - and reception seems to be well.

and how do you remove the radio I can do it on my Audi is it the sme I cannot find any slots for removel tools
