For Sale 82' 300sd turbo diesel

It doesn't chirp all the time, it occasionally does this, if you notice in the video it doesn't chirp at all. I've had a wagon and a 240d that had lazy sluggish shifts that happened way too early so by comparison this car shifts nicely. Also I don't floor it and attempt to get it to chirp, or add cetane, nos or other such nonsense, this car is a daily driver
The K&N air filter on there is much less constrictive than the stock air cleaner, and yes it is hot and provides better mpg. This is by no means a race car but is quicker than most 300's
All gas and diesel fuel contains some small amounts of water and based on how little i drive the car, sta-bil does help.
Thanks,
G

Well
Hey Forced,
I hope you are the highest bidder on my 300sd
Mercedes-Benz : 300-Series SD in Mercedes-Benz | eBay Motors
Since you've already done the W/M deal on your 300, perhaps you can return my car to Rudolph Diesel's original vision of Veggie oil vs the industrial sludge byproduct that is diesel #2. Since it gets cold you would need a 2 tank system + fuel filter / heater. and most likely a tank heater.
Being a performance enthusiast you would most likely go with peanut oil as it has the highest cetane rating of any vegetable oil.
Have you ever checked out HHO as an option? I imagine if anyone could get that going it would be you!!
Can you post a video of your 300 going 115mph with the video camera pointed through the windshield? I'd love to see the Colorado landscape vs your speedo... or was that clip another dyno pull??
Best,
G

ok
In 1912 Rudolph Diesel stated: “The diesel engine can be fed with vegetable oils and would help considerably in the development of agriculture of the countries which use it” and that “The use of vegetable oils for engine fuels may seem insignificant today. But such oils may become in course of time as important as petroleum and the coal tar products of the present time.”

Well if you have a new video camera, how fast does your 300sd go??
