For Sale 1973 450 SL, Hendersonville, NC
This is a cross-post for my son in Flat Rock, NC. He owns my 1973 Mercedes 450SL coupe. It’s white with red leather interior. It was totaled in 2001, but he bought it back and repaired it and his wife kept driving it until a storm caused a large tree to fall on the back. It is not drivable now. He is moving and needs to sell it. He planned to call the junk yard, but I suggested he allow me to post it on this forum. The car has 123,000 miles, is in great shape, except for the aforementioned damage. I had the top welded due to leaks. I had the dashboard replaced. I LOVED this car, and could not bear to sell it about 13 years ago, so I gave it to him. I have not seen this car for about 10 years, so I’m not sure of the current condition, but I know that it drove well and was a beautiful car with no rust spots up to the time of the storm about 2 years ago. Knowing how much replacement parts cost, I thought someone may be interested in offering a higher price than the junk yard. The vin # is 10704412013625.

Still have the 450SL
I live close to you in Bristol TN and would like to have this for parts, It hasn't run for a year and would like to get the old girl going again. It is a 1973 450SL as well.:)l

This vehicle is unsalvageable
There is a tree growing through the engine compartment and it has been left open in the weather for a very long time; ask for current pictures first and save yourself a trip
