I am parting out a 1983 Mercedes Benz 240D. The reason it's getting parted out is the rear control arm is rotted out, and the floors are just starting to rot, but the body is still in very good condition, and the car has been well cared for it's whole life. It's just time to go, though. The engine and transmission is being used in another project, but everything else is up for grabs CHEAP. The car is Orient Red (reddish brown) with a Palomino interior. I REALLY need to get this car parted, cut up, and outta here ASAP, so here's a quick price list. E-mail me for anything else not on the list. Some stuff I can ship, some I can't, but I can cut an even better deal for folks willing to pick up parts in person. The car is in a garage with all tools, all lights and electric, air tools, sawzall, etc. I can probably make myself available almost any day, day or night. I'm just outside Wilkes-Barre, PA. I have the trunk lock, I'll have to make a spare key for it. Umm, if 60 for the speedo set is unreasonable, make me an offer. I've seen 'em go for more, I've seen 'em go for less, all depending on the condition. I didn't think 60 was that unreasonable, but whatever. Guess ya can't please everyone.

Only way it would be able to go would be Greyhound. Just so you know, shipping would most likely be a fortune, probably not worth it for a 5-dollar bumper with broken brackets.

 

I need a center console for a 4-spd/240D. Was this car automatic or manual? Do you have the center console? Is it in one piece nothing broken off of it? I'm coming past Wilkes Barre this weekend (via 81N) on Friday evening. I could stop by and pick it up. Thanks.

All the fabric / material in my 240 has goota be replaced...stored under tarp that obviously didn't do the job....mold/mildew everywhere....seats,carpets.headliner/doorliners...haven't looked under dashbox leather but that too probably....what do you have that can help?
