This XP-STAR (Auto-Link Blue STAR) diagnostic device realizes all the functions of the official factory Mercedes Star2000: reading out and erasing trouble code; reading the real-time data of sensor and actuator; coding and programming. It applies the latest high-tech central system of car model 221/211 and 203 with software version updated to january 2012, enter all the Mercedes Benz cars, such as autobus truck, saloon car, sports car, Smart car and so on. This even includes the new ML166, W212 and C218 CLS!

Hardware and software requirements:
Software requires at least Intel Celeron/Pentium 1.8GHz (dual core preferred), 1GB RAM, 65GB free space on internal HDD (highly recommed), USB2.0 recommended and Windows XP with the latest service pack installed, if your PC or laptop does NOT have a RS232 (serial) port you need to have a USB or PCMCIA to RS232 converter. For USB to RS232 there is only one version that works, thats the one with a FTDI chip.
