I have a root-beer brown 1980 Mercedes 240 d that runs and currently drives fine down the road.

The 4 cylinder(non-turbo) runs well and provides good power. Just like alot of old diesels, it smokes some whitish smoke out the exhaust during acceleration. New battery and air filter.

4 speed manual transmission shifts fine and strong.

All electronics work, including radio and lights. It has a sunroof but the mechanism to open it is broken.

Brakes work, but should be gone through before serious driving. It's easy to change the 4 wheel disc brakes.

Body is in decent shape except for passengers side door, it is dented a bit.I am including a spare matching 240D doors to replace it. Paint is coming off on the trunk only.
Hood has trouble opening.

The inside is in decent shape.

Solid on the road, rides pretty well.

Currently registered and has current CA plates. Located in Roseville(near Sacramento, CA) I have all the paperwork.

Looking to get $750, i can deliver the car if you need.
