I have a ac/heater blower motor from a 2002 210 E class. It has the wiring harness but does not have the resistor. Purchased on ebay and was told it was "new" but it appears to have a little use on it. Was going to convert my 97 210 but I ended up selling the car. I believe all you will need for it to work in the older 96-97 210 is the resistor and a cover plate.
