Default '99 Red CLK 430

FOR SALE: 1999 Mercedes CLK 430 AMG.

New company car allotment and I am hell-bent on getting a new GTO. Time to sell my favorite car.

PICTURES:
http://groups.msn.com/RedCLK430/shoebox.msnw

See the url (link) above for pictures. NOTE: There are two pages of pictures; use page selection at top of screen to see page 2. or click on one small picture and use "NEXT" button to go through all photos.

Car is in excellent condition; garaged, no snow, very little rain, always waxed, PAMPERED. Mobil 1 oil change every 3,000 miles. Always 93 or higher octane. Less than 10,000 miles per year. (Current mileage = 69,500)

"Magma Red" exterior (pretty rare around here). I get many compliments on this car. Black leather with NO rips, cracking, fading or other signs of wear. Xenon headlights with optional headlight washers. Rear window sunshade. Factory 6-CD changer / AM/FM Cassette. Power moonroof, AMG package.

New Dunlops in the rear. Front tires replaced less than 5,000 miles ago and are like new. New master cylinder, new rotors, new pads all around, brake lines flushed. New oil pan and crank pulley. New crank position sensor. New MAF ('air mass meter'). Tranny fluid and coolant recently changed. All receipts available.

Motorola pro-install hands-free cell mount with external antenna. Kuda black leather cell phone mount on dash.

Everything functional, no gremlins. NO DOOR DINGS or scratches. Some minor chips on the hood (too small to photograph). One tiny 3/8" ding on the trunk from prior owner. I tried to photograph it but was unsuccessful (also too small).

Transferable warranty through February, 2007.

The car is completely stock, no comprimises, needs nothing, very clean. You will not be disappointed.

Asking $19,400.

PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL AT:

Thanks.

A Pontiac, Ford, and M-B? That's a nice eclectic mix.

I wouldn't mind having a new GTO myself. In fact, I'd like a new AND an old one. I used to have a '66 GTO with a 389, tri-power, and 4-speed. Very fast and too cool. An old Ferrari GTO would be okay as well.

Have you looked in your own garage lately? Sounds like you are a connoisseur of all things mechanical as well (can I interest you in a nice CLK for your collection?)

Spent many summer nights cruising in a friend's '70 GTO convertible back when life was easy. 'Nice place to visit' but now I need IRS, ABS, EFI, climate control... I have become high maintenance.

Well, sure. That's why I made the comment. You remind me of me.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have to make sure there are no ditches or large diameter trees around when I take the Chevelle out for a ride. Whoever invented posi-traction should be shot.

I am OK with that... as log as you do not resemble that picture in your avatar.

I am a reformed Chevy guy as well; the CLK/Trans AM/SHO combo replaced a '95 LT1 6-sp 'vette/SHO/Blazer set-up. Much better than the previous SHO/GTI/Escort GT train station parking lot collection (it was a dark time in my life).

But I guess this is a CLASSIFIED thread so I should mention that the price on the CLK is negotiable. Anyone with any questions on the car can email me. THANKS!

Of course not. I part my hair in the middle.
