Hello diesel lovers,

1982 300TD with 171,000 miles!! $7500

I’m looking for buyers for this car and 6 other pre -85 diesel cars that are being offered to me. 2 300SD’s, 190D 5 speed (in rough shape), 2 300D’s and another wagon.

This first one is as a nice 82 300TD. I’ve been running it on 50% diesel and 50 WVO down to 5 microns. There is no conversion kit installed. Here are some details and link to more pictures.

171,234 original miles!!
*Beige exterior / tan interior
Great paint
No RUST
New Valve cover gasket
Interior in great condition (no tears in seats) but the carpet in the back has some worn patches.
Cruise control does not work
OEM cassette radio from 1982 doesn’t work.
All windows work fine
Vacuum locks do not but key works fine.
Tires are about 80% and brakes work fine
Self adjusting rear suspension does not leak but needs to be bled and reset.
It does like to mark its territory with some oil drips, nothing of any consequence. I changed the oil every 4K and the dripping never showed on the dipstick as oil lost.
No third row seats
AC blow cold but the direction buttons don’t work so some comes out the top and out the front vents.
Manual sunroof (so you don’t have to worry about the motor)
All glow plugs are in good shape and starts right up right away.
It has a new oil filter, Air filter, oil change; valve cover gasket replaced and valve adjustment done
No evidence that it has ever been wrecked or in any kind of accident.

I'm making it sound much worse than it is but I want folks to know what they are getting.

The bummer news:
The car is in FL (where I am) and I can have it shipped to CA for about $1000.00 that will have to be paid by the buyer. If you live closer than CA it will be cheaper. Or you can fly in and take it home your call.
