Finally made a decision to sell my MB. Bought an M5 and was going to use the SL500 as daily driver but end up driving the M5 all the time as it is so much fun. Gave the SL500 to the wife but she doesn't drive it. So finally made the decision to sell as it is just taking up space in the garage. Wanted to check interest on the board before posting on Autotrader or Cars.com. The car is in excellent condition so would be a good car for daily driver, or a gift to a family member. I personally detail it at least twice a month. Body in excellent condition with some minor stone chips on the front bumper, 1 very small stone chip on the passenger door, and a very small scratch on the rear bumper. No door dings, curb rash or any damage on the wheels. Interior in excellent condition with minimal wear on leather and carpet. Maintained by local Mercedes dealership. It also has an extended warranty up to Dec 2010 and 100,000 miles. It currently has a little over 41,000 miles. I have also changed the original wheels to ones from a 2008 SL550. They look fantastic on the car. Front tires are Michelins Pilots with about 50% tread, rears are Continental Extreme Contact DWS, they are brand new with less than 1000 miles on them. Car has Active Body Control, Suspension height adjustment, DVD navigation, Power everything. With spring and summer coming up, this is the perfect car to enjoy the beautiful weather.
