Guys--I am trying to sell my 2002 SL500 Silver Arrow. Bought a 2004 a month ago and now the Silver Arrow is sitting in the garage, which is a sad place for a beautiful convertible to be living. The car has 75k on it, mostly highway (drive a ton for business). Great condition with meticulous maintenance performed including 5,000 mile Mobil-1, synthetic ATF, and synthetic rear diff. Also put in K&N air filters a little while ago. Have all maintenance records since I acquired it in June of '05. I am the second owner. Interior is flawless except for a crack around the center console area, which apparently is common with the bird's eye maple. I had a Kenwood in-dash CD player with Sirius, iPod connection, and USB connection installed. Works very well and interfaces flawlessly with the existing Bose sub and speakers. Michelin Pilots have about 10k more left in them and the brakes (all Mercedes parts) have another 15k or so I believe. Wheels are in great shape except for some minor curb rash on one of the front wheels. I also have a portable stand for the hard top which makes it easier to store for the summer. I'm not trying to make a profit on this--just get what is reasonable so I can free up my garage and stop paying the insurance. I realize there aren't a lot of potential buyers in Lexington, Ky, where I am. However, I will foot the bill to fly the buyer here to Lexington.
