1995 Mercedes Benz 300D. Looks good, runs great and the interior is in very good shape.

Many Mercedes enthusiasts consider the ’95 300 D to be the last great Benz. This one has 292K miles and it should get to 500K no problem. It’s a 4,500 pound car, so it’s very safe, and still averages around 35 mpg combined city/highway (It’ll get near 40 mpg at 65 mph).

I’m the second owner and I have done all the services for the last 60K miles. I purchased the vehicle from the previous owner’s son, weeks after his father died. This guy would not have sold his car, it was his baby and it really shows.

It’s given me no problems, whatsoever, because the all services have been performed as scheduled. The previous owner was extremely meticulous; he had all the services done by the same Mercedes dealer, including a factory rebuilt transmission at 227K, and I have all his records.

This vehicle is extremely dependable, but it does have a few minor issues like a crack in the windshield (as all my vehicles do) and it’s missing a piece on the front air dam, which is below the front bumper and is not very noticeable. Feel free to call for details.

This car spent most of its life in Arizona, where it was garaged, as well as in Texas, so the body doesn’t have any rusting issues.

I hate to sell this (or my Mercedes CLK), because they’re great vehicles, but my family is too big for them now. I may be interested in trading up or down, +/- cash, for a station wagon or large sedan, but I’m not interested in anything that doesn’t get comparable fuel economy.
