1992 300SD Diesel

I'm considering a purchase of a 1992 300SD. Do you know of any concerns or plaudits of that car that a potential buyer should know about? Any persistent issues (costly or otherwise)?

Run a compression check on the engine. Make sure it does not burn any oil. An engine replacement can cost nearly $10K.
