1982 Mercedes 300TD Biodiesel Wagon W123 Pristine~Museum Quality

It just had the Greaseworks/Viton kit professionally installed .
I have been running B100 from the Dogpatch filling station in SF, so you can run biodiesel or dino diesel or convert to a single tank veggie oil system easy, this rare w123 wagon is very hard to find in this pristine ORIGINAL condition.

Concourse items like the cargo net system and the original first aid kit are all there!!! This car is symbolic of what automotive durability and quality should be.
The reality is that an all good w123 turbo diesel with only 35,000 miles could, with a little luck, be used as a daily driven car for 20 more years. The car’s manufacturing footprint is long faded and it gets good mileage so it is arguably still as green as a new Prius.!!!

Rock Solid It has 35,000 original documented miles.-

-You can eat off every surface!!! The vehicle shows very very well and has a set of new tires so you can drive it anywhere.

All DOCS right back to the window sticker!!--All power options, sunroof, and the 3rd row seat.
New Alpine mp3/usb/cd /ipod player.

Car is located in San Francisco CA--SOMA delancy/brannan please email shimmersky@gmail.com for appointment to view 20 ,000 $$$ FIRM

I am not really a W123 fan but the right person looking for a W123 wagon may indeed pay that for the car.

wow, what a beautiful wagon, a shame you did the bio conversion imho, good luck with the sale. I too think that your market is very very very limited at that price, especially in this economy.

restoration

This is an original car.
Preserved under a blanket in CA for the better part of 27 years!

The starting point for this restoration was some soft rubber components such as the spheres in the leveling system, so we have new accumulators now!
And there is no conversion per se to run B100- i just used viton lines that can handle the fuel rather than the oem rubber lines that needed to be replaced anyway.

I am willing to work with any serious buyer on the final price!!

sold

to mbz 300

Thanks a bunch for the kind words, im sure your chin was in the air the whole time you crafted that snobbish response!!

The car sold to a local San Francisco couple for the asking price a few days after i joined this forum.

These wagons are very very desirable as of late and this sale goes to show what can be achieved with a clean low mile example.

Regards

Congratulations on the sale! That really is a beautiful wagon. do you still have the original Becker radio? I'd be interested if you still have it and want to sell it.
