i can vouch for the engine. my dad has a 1997 e420 sport with 247k on the clock. still outruns mustang GTs

 

oh yeah! its a sleeper lol! i remember several times when i was younger (and he was too) him killing lots of little ricers, mustangs and the like on the interstate.

what a great handling car too! the sport has the bigger wheels and probably different suspension.
