Looking to purchase a 1980-1985 300TD (turbo diesel)

Anything in about 250 miles of Detroit would be considered close.

I have heard the these diesel engines are the last of the best for biodiesel and conversions to vegetable oil as they were built to run on peanut oil. There is a web site called Lovegood which sells a heater/filter conversion kit for this engine.

I am not a collector and am not skilled nor financed for major restoration/ressurection.

Mechanically sound for a daily driver, can operate undere the hood with instruction for small parts repairs.
Cosmetically good but no need to be perfect, minimal rust ok but not looking to see through the floorboards.

Old service records a plus.
